How it works

From intake to first dose

Guidance included and no insurance paperwork. Here is the whole path.

Two ways to start: book a free discovery call and talk it through with our team first, or go straight to the online health intake. Either way, a licensed physician personally reviews your information and approves your protocol before anything ships.

1

Tell us about your health

If no discovery call is needed, you answer the health questions right away: a short online intake covering your history and goals. It takes about ten minutes.

2

A physician reads it

A U.S. physician licensed in your state reviews your answers. If MIC/B12 doesn't fit your health picture, they'll tell you what does.

3

Your blend ships, care continues

Your prescription ships free from a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy, and your care team checks in after it lands.

Where MIC/B12 fits

What metabolism support actually means

A GLP-1 changes how much you eat. This blend is about what your body does next: how fat gets processed and how food gets used. Different job, and the two are often run together.

Fat gets processed

The lipotropic trio works where fat is broken down and moved: your liver. That is the "MIC" in the name.

Food reads as fuel

B12 is central to how your body converts what you eat into usable energy, and to the red blood cells that carry oxygen.

A GLP-1 companion

Many patients run MIC/B12 alongside semaglutide or tirzepatide. Your physician decides whether the pairing makes sense for you.

Or on its own

You don't need a weight protocol to qualify. Plenty of patients take it standalone, at their physician's discretion.

Looking for cellular energy rather than metabolism support? That's NAD+.

What's in the blend

Four ingredients, no mystery

MIC is short for the three lipotropic compounds in the vial. Vitamin B12 makes the fourth. Here is each one in plain words.

B12

Vitamin B12

The energy vitamin. Your nerve cells and red blood cells depend on it.

M

Methionine

An amino acid involved in how your body processes fat.

I

Inositol

A compound that plays a role in how your cells respond to insulin.

C

Choline

A nutrient your liver uses to metabolize fat.

These statements describe how each nutrient functions in the body. They are not claims to treat or cure any condition.

The honest part

What to know going in

MIC/B12 is gentle compared to most injectables, but it's still a prescription. Here's the full picture.

Common side effects

  • Soreness or a small bruise at the injection site. It usually fades within a day or two.
  • Occasional mild nausea on the day of your injection.
  • That's the common list. If anything else shows up, message your care team and they'll adjust.

Who should skip it

  • Anyone pregnant, planning pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
  • Anyone with a B12 allergy or a known sensitivity to cobalt.
  • Anyone whose physician reviews their history and says no. That answer stands.

Your physician screens for all of this before anything ships. That is the point of having one.

What arrives at your door

Cold-packed in transit

A check-in after delivery

Your care team follows up once it arrives and stays reachable as you go.

Physician Q&A

Good to know

Physician-guided care, up close PHYSICIAN-GUIDED CARE
Dr. Samuel B. Lee, MD
Dr. Samuel B. Lee, MD · Founder & Medical DirectorAnswered by our medical team, not a bot.
I'm already on a GLP-1. Do I need this too?
Not necessarily, but it's a common pairing. A GLP-1 works on appetite; MIC/B12 works on how your body processes fat and uses food for energy. Many of our weight loss patients run both. Whether the combination makes sense for you is your physician's call, made from your intake.
Isn't this just a B12 shot?
No. B12 is one of four ingredients. The other three are the lipotropic compounds that put the "MIC" in the name, and they're the reason people choose this blend over a plain B12 injection. If all you need is B12, your physician will tell you that instead.
When will I feel a difference?
Honestly, it's gradual. Some patients notice steadier energy within days, for others it takes a few weeks of consistent weekly doses, and some feel very little even when the blend is doing its job. Results vary, and anyone who promises a specific timeline is guessing.
What does it cost? Do I need insurance?
No insurance needed. Your medication is included in your plan, and your physician walks through transparent pricing with you during your visit, before you commit to anything. No hidden fees.
Can I take it without a weight loss protocol?
Yes. MIC/B12 stands on its own. Plenty of patients use it for metabolism and B12 support without any GLP-1 in the picture. As always, the prescribing physician makes the final call based on your health.
Is my information private?
Yes. Your care is HIPAA-protected and encrypted, handled only by licensed providers and U.S. pharmacies. Nothing is shared without your consent, and you can pause or cancel anytime.
